Poofy Hair?

I have long-medium hair that is very thick and poofy. It is not very curly or wavy, but it has a slight wave to it. Are there any inexpensive products out there that I can use to make my hair less poofy?

Garnier frutis smoothing milk is inexpensive and pretty common in drug stores. try wetting in and putting in mousse and gel. BIGGEST TIP IS GETT A LAYERED haircut. and ask for it to be thinned out with a razor

as in thick hair, get it thinned out when you get it cut next time!

I dont think you should get a really layered hairut. Putting a razor on curls is the WORST thing you can do to it. Please do not take that advice. To prevent the poofing, make sure you are using a good conditioner first and foremost. Do not brush your hair when it is dry. Comb it when it is wet, and put on a curl cream paired with a mouse. Herbal Essence has a decent mouse. The Fruitis would be a good creme to put on it as well. This will control frizz, and promote curling. Let it dry naturally, and try to touch it as little as possible. Once it dries seperate the pieces with your fingers. This will be fast and easy, and will look great!
