What color of hair highlites would look good on me?

I don't look like my avatar.

I have a tan skin, black hair, black eyes, medium hair (Probbably going to cut it soon though.), and I've been thinking about getting highlites.

What color of highlites would look good on me?

I was thinking about medium brown streaks... would that look okay?

Toffee, platinum, perhaps caramel, or even a red/mahogony colour.

They all look great on dark hair :)

keep in mind that if your hair is black they are going to have to bleach it before they color it... that way it will hold the color... i think you should ask the stylist because they know what would look good... also, i think if you want medium brown, go for it... if you dont like it, you can always dye it back black, or go a different color... and remember... hair grows back :)

I would say no more than 2-3 lighter, a medium brown shade, even a chocolate colour.
