Naturaly CURLY hair and Straightening?

Hello, I have naturaly curly hair, medium length, medium in texture (not thick noth thin)... Since I have curly hair, different hairstyles are hard to achieve, so I have turned to the flat iron for more update hip styles. but inturn after ironing my hair is VERY VERY dry and cant get the back to lay right.

Question?

Does anyone know what products to use to help with the dry hair?

Does anyone know of any good sites to check out for "COOL" hairstyles for both curly and straight?

ok,my hair is identical to yours.i had the same problem.solution:dont straighten it so much,and use sunsilk frizz control products.makes hair naturally straighter and lets you do a lot more wit it.

Use a deep conditioner once a week (the kind that you leave in for awhile and rinse out) and always use a heat protector before you use a flatiron.

try this spray b4 u iron ur hair or go to salon and they can give u a really nice spray for only like 15 dollars alo try relaing it.....it very damaging to your hair and costs about 60$ but it can keep yo hair straight for up to 2 years!!! hope i helped :-]

Missie there are many ways to get your hair straighten. Go to Beauty Parlor and tell them to straight your hair in any way.

I hope that they can do something about it.

use a Lorial conditioner for damaged hair its good, n oil your hair with almond oil. Curly hair look good y spoil your texture.

I have the same type of hair i use the iron also and what i do is put on my hair befor i blow dry it is Brilliant Brunette Runway Straight Smothing Milk .It works great when straightening your hair.and the next day if you don't use the iron it will not be dry .Also use Pantene pro V shampoo moisture.hope that helps

I had the same problem and my hair stylist recommended Redken. It's called All Soft. There is a shampoo and conditioner. I have noticed a major change in my hair and I still straighten it every day. Hope this helped!! Just an FYI the shampoo is about $15.00 and the conditioner is about the same. It's a little pricy but the hair stylist always says you get what you pay for!!
