I used medium ash brown on my hair, don't like it, what can I do. I like reddish brown better?

your gonna have a problem with that...first it sounds like you used a box color...baaaddd choice my friend they are terrible for your hair... but besides that if you refer to the color wheel to cancel out the greeen that ash actually is youdd have to use red...that would bring it to a neutral tone(aka brown) thats really the best you could do..this coming from a stylist!!

you could attempt to do this with box color...but i REALLY stress not!!

look up and see if there are any beauty schools in your area that accept walk in clients and see if they can help(price wise its great plus you have an instructor watching)

wash wash and wash, don't color your hair again for a few weeks it could do major damage... Wait 6 weeks and try another color closer to the color you like..

whatever you do..please wait a minimum of 7 days before re-dying on your own. Whatever color you want...which sounds like you would want to go with a golden base...go alittle darker. And DO NOT go with a natural or ash. Ash usually has a grey base..whereas...the golden.... duh...has a gold or reddish base!

Good luck.

Main point...condition! condition! condition!! and do NOT re-dye immediately!! wait a week or you could have your hair fall out. I know I've seen it, been thru it and know it DOES happen..not everytime...but is it really worth the chance?

For now...go with a tint or temp/semi temp darker color of your choice until you've waited the week and CONDITION and your hair has had a chance to rest up for another major chemical change!

Wait at least a week after you used the first color before you dye it again, then it'll be okay. And don't wash your hair in the 24 hours before you straighten it. Good luck, and if anything goes wrong, go to your salon!
